I qualified from St George’s Medical School, London in 1998.
I initially embarked on a career in surgery. I completed my basic surgical training, working in hospitals in London and Surrey and gained Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2003. I then worked as a locum registrar in general surgery revolving through colorectal, breast and vascular surgery. I undertook a Master’s degree in Surgical Sciences at Imperial College London and completed research in wireless capsule endoscopy.
While I enjoyed my time in surgery, I decided to change career to devote more time to my young family. I have worked for the last 9 years at a local NHS practice in Wimbledon and provide out of hours care at St George’s Hospital.
I have an interest in minor surgery and undertake excisions of benign lesions, such as cysts, skin tags and moles and I also perform cryotherapy.
